The SRT95C mining dump truck is manufactured by SANY Group and is designed for mining applications such as open-pit coal mines. The SRT95C is equipped with a combination of front dry disc brakes and rear oil-cooled multi-disc wet disc brakes, with fully independent hydraulic control. Rear wet brakes integrate four main functions: service braking, parking braking, retard braking and emergency braking, and are a key safety component for the 95-ton mining truck.
•Front wheels: Dry single disc brake performs only basic service braking, does not have retarding and parking braking functions, heat dissipation depends on air, and is easily subject to thermal wear when driving downhill for a long time.
•Rear wheels: Sealed, oil-cooled, multi-disc wet brake is the main braking force for the entire vehicle. Heavy braking, long downhill deceleration, parking braking and emergency braking when pressure drops are all handled entirely by the rear multi-disc wet unit.
